Regaining Lost Focus

What do you do when you at a point where you are beginning to lose focus? I mean focus on your dreams, visions and goals for the year. I am asking this because I believe that at the the beginning of the year, you took time to ponder over what you want to see or achieve with your life at some point this year.

However, the reality is that you may or may not have achieve any or all that you thought you would by this time of the year. And maybe, because you’ve invested so much time and resources into pursuing those goals and have not had time to give yourself some rest and you are beginning to lose energy and ultimately, your focus. This is normal and happens to people from time to time.

It is only important to know that when you are at a point like this, all you need to do is to find a way to regain your lost focus. I have been here too and I have come up with a simple step to regain lost focus in my own life’s pursuit and I thought I should share it with you.

The step I used is built on an acronym – S.T.O.P., with each of the letters standing for a step in the process as follows.

S = Stop
T = Think
O = Organise or (Re)Organise
P = Proceed.

I will be creating very short audio podcast series exploring each of the steps in the S.T.OP. process to show you how to regain your lost focus and recover the passion to continue to pursue your goals for the remainder of the year.

This podcast is the first in the series, giving a brief introduction to what to expect in the series.
